Late newsletter
I’ve been traveling a lot lately and this newsletter is late. By the time you get this Thanksgiving will be here or gone.
There is so much information on the internet that I could write an entire newsletter just filled with cool web site articles and movies for you to visit. I feel like a ringmaster in a 300 (3,000,000?) ring circus.
I’ve included some of it, plus a few ads for products (hey, a guy’s gotta make a living) in this newsletter. In fact my wife Beth has collected some wonderful….

Philosophy makes sense

It’s important to have philosophy in this world of overwhelming information. Why? Philosophy helps us organize and make sense of all the information we’re bombarded with.

Chiropractic philosophy is Empirical or Vitalistic. Without understanding our philosophical roots we’d be lost. With an understanding of our philosophy we can make sense out of the “research” in the biomedical journals (most of it is useless) and we can better recognize the gems to pass on to our patients.

That’s why I recommend reading Divided Legacy (Vol 4.) by Harris Coulter, PhD, the medical historian. We offer it for sale at all of my seminars whether I’m discussing chiropractic, history, healing, science, nutrition, vaccination, Koren Specific Technique (KST) or anything else. We have to know our philosophy or we’ll be as lost as most MDs are.

Depressed about the future of our profession?

I don’t blame you. The schools, under the dictatorship of the CCE, are vastly overpriced (remember how much it cost before the CCE?) and the quality of chiropractic education has been dropping.

Graduates barely know how to adjust, are confused as to what chiropractic is for and are even vaccinating their kids. They are falling for lots of adjusting gimmicks and winding up in terrible debt.

With this in mind I’ve been thinking about starting a chiropractic college based on Empiricism/Vitalism and willing to stand up to the forces trying to turn us into pseudo-MDs – like Palmer College used to be.

But I often feel like a lone voice in the wind. We have some wonderful talented people in our profession who I envision helping in this endeavor. Some have already contacted me.

Creating a school is a tremendous undertaking and is terribly expensive. Any support from anyone reading these words would be most welcome.

Finally – it’s about time….

While Palmer, Parker and Sherman Colleges refuse to invite me to speak on vaccination anymore (sigh) at least Oprah is leading the way. See below.

Nationwide Revolt Against Dangerous Vaccines Accelerates
Growing number of parents opting out following Jenny McCarthy media blitz about link to autism.
Paul Joseph Watson, Prison Planet, Thursday, October 18, 2007

Concerned parents across the U.S. are leading a nationwide revolt against unnecessary, untested and dangerous vaccines as CDC records show a growing amount of religious exemptions on vaccine forms, following a media blitz by Jenny McCarthy in which she blamed a vaccine for causing her son's autism.

Let’s continue the revolt…

RON PAUL - PRESIDENT 2008
http://www.ronpaul2008.com and http://www.ronpaul2008.com/issues/health-freedom/

The FDA, in order to comply with standards dictated by supra-national organizations such as the UN's World Food Code (CODEX), NAFTA, and CAFTA, has been assuming greater control over nutrients, vitamins and natural health care providers to restrict your right to choose the manner in which you manage your health and nutritional needs.
I have been the national leader in preserving Health Freedom. I have introduced the Health Freedom Protection Act, HR 2117, to ensure Americans can receive truthful health information about supplements and natural remedies. I support the Access to Medical Treatment Act, H.R. 2717, which expands the ability of Americans to use alternative medicine and new treatments. I oppose legislation that increases the FDA's legal powers. FDA has consistently failed to protect the public from dangerous drugs, genetically modified foods, dangerous pesticides and other chemicals in the food supply. Meanwhile they waste public funds attacking safe, healthy foods and dietary supplements
I also opposed the Homeland Security Bill, H.R. 5005, which, in section 304, authorizes the forced vaccination of American citizens against small pox. The government should never have the power to require immunizations or vaccinations.

Obstetricians urge pregnant women to get flu shots
Last Updated: 2007-11-06 14:11:24 -0400 (Reuters Health)
It’s ok to give them a flu shot with mercury but at the same time they tell mothers not to eat tuna because of the danger of mercury in the fish?

Vasectomy causes brain damage?

The damaging effects of vasectomy on immune and nervous systems have been observed for four decades and recorded in the publications below.

The first paper describes primary progressive aphasia (PPA) after vasectomy. PPA is a form of dementia due to brain cell degeneration. It can occur in individuals under the age of 65 (and sometimes as early as in the 40’s), and involves a decline in one or more language functions.

Gardasil adverse events include deaths, seizures…

FDAnews Drug Daily Bulletin Oct. 11, 2007
http://www.fdanews.com/newsletter/article?articleId=99624&issueId=10844

There have been 3,461 reports of adverse events, including a maximum of 11 deaths, in patients receiving Merck’s cervical cancer vaccine Gardasil, public interest group Judicial Watch said. Since May, the group has found documents detailing 1,824 reports of adverse reactions to Gardasil (quadrivalent human papillomavirus [Types 6, 11, 16, 18] recombinant vaccine), including eight deaths. Before May, Judicial Watch had obtained 1,637 adverse event reports. The group received the data from the FDA through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
Of the 1,824 adverse events reported between May 10 and Sept. 7, 347 were serious reactions including paralysis, Bell’s palsy, Guillain-Barre syndrome and seizures, according to the group. 33 out of 77 pregnant women who received the vaccine experienced side effects, including spontaneous abortion and fetal abnormalities, Judicial Watch added. “In light of this information, it is disturbing that state and local governments might mandate in any way this vaccine for young girls,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said.

Leading hospitals prefer Coca Cola

No kidding, this ad really appeared in a medical journal!
Have times changed that much? The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) has a McDonald’s in the lobby.

Special Flu Vaccine Report

This special report recently appeared in the Tedd Koren Patient Newsletter. We thought it so important to get this information out that we are putting excerpts of the information in this free newsletter. Please send it out to all your patients. Looking for a great patient newsletter? If you’d like to subscribe (even for one month), go to www.korenpublications.com or call 800-537-3001.

Three important reasons to avoid the flu shot:
1. The flu shot contains mercury, formaldehyde, gelatin and traces of chicken cells.
2. The flu shot contains viral contaminants that have been linked to cancer.
3. You can get the flu shot – and all the risks that go with it – and still get the flu.

Avoid the shot: help prevent Alzheimer’s Disease

According to Hugh Fudenberg, MD, the world's leading immunogeneticist and 13th most quoted biologist of our time (over 850 papers in peer reviewed journals), if an individual has five consecutive flu shots their chance of getting Alzheimer's is ten times higher! (1)

How does the flu shot cause Alzheimer’s? Dr. Fudenberg states the mercury in flu shots (and many childhood shots as well as some RhoGam shots) cross the blood-brain barrier causing brain damage. Mercury has also been linked to ADHD and autism. Alzheimer's is expected to quadruple. Are flu shots the reason? (2)

How many really die of the flu?

Reports claim that “Influenza kills 30,000 to 40,000 Americans every year.” (3) That is simply not the case. According to the Centers for Disease Control, the number of people who die of the flu are a fraction of that. Here is what the CDC says:
In 2002: 753 died of the flu (4)
In 2001: 267 died of the flu (5)

Flu shot does not save lives in the elderly

The flu vaccine isn’t preventing death in the elderly, the “high risk group” that is told to get a flu shot to reduce mortality, according to a study in the Archives of Internal Medicine.
